Summer registration is finally here! Apologies that we weren't able to run a spring session.
Please share this registration with all of your friends who may be interested in volleyball. This is a great starter program to introduce the athletes to school athletics and learn about other volleyball opportunities!
We are expecting a large group this year. We are splitting the age groups into two different sessions. We have added options for players as young as 2nd grade! The younger ages will be more of a beginner session focused on coordination and the basics of handling a volleyball. The older group will be focused on learning skills in preparation for upcoming club and school seasons. Because we are anticipating a large turnout for each age group so this program will be limited to the first 28 to register. You may join a waitlist or contact us for additional opportunities and discuss the possibility of expanding.
Who is eligible: Any boy or girl in 2nd-6th grade (from any school district)
When: All sessions will be on Sunday afternoon for the duration of the 5 weeks.
May 12th, May 19th, May 26th, June 9th, June 16th
NO SESSION ON June 2nd
*5th-6th Grade Boys and Girls = 3:00-4:15 PM (1:15)
*All grades 2nd-4th Boys or Girls = 4:15-5:15 PM (1 hour)
Where: The Old Intermediate School gym (105 Baughman Street, Sunbury)
What: Each session will feature skill instruction followed by game play that is appropriate to the experience level of each group (2's, 3's, 4's, skill games, etc).
Cost: $100 per five week session for 5th-6th Grade and $80 for the 2nd-4th grade session.
Fall Session: Will be announced this summer, beginning in September.
All athletes will receive a t-shirt and will be coached by the current coaching staff at Big Walnut High and Middle Schools as well as current players and other top coaches in Central Ohio Volleyball. We’re excited to help develop a love of the sport with this next generation of athletes, and we hope to see you there!
Sunday doesn't work and looking for a Saturday option?
We will be running the same program through our club team and training program/websites below. Feel free to join both programs or choose the Saturday only option through either website!

For anyone looking for a more competitive/travel level experience, please reach out to us directly. We can explain the process and the many changes for Ohio families beginning summer 2024. While we do coach and run a travel program, we are happy to provide information about all of the local programs. Many older teams (7th grade and older) will be limited by the number of players per school per OHSAA regulations, so we are happy to put you in touch with the directors of local clubs, and to help you find the right fit for your family to continue to grow volleyball in our district/area.
